This was the first release of Rasbliutto Recordings to bear the actual imprint of Rasbliutto. A project involving (non)drummer Daniel Sajko and Bryan Eubanks (non)playing guitar, samplers, trumpet, radios that began innocently enough in the basement of NE Brazee Street in Portland, Oregon in 1998. Essentially psychadelic in character with heavy layering and a sense of trying to "work together" in an improvised manner to create a music that was meaningful to them at the time. The project evolved into this final incarnation with both Sajko and Eubanks working with drumsets and samplers to create a very choppy music. BEDS played a ton of concerts in Portland over the next couple of years and released some music on Nillacat Records as well. The photo on the front is from the desert east of Los Angeles on the one and final tour they did of the West Coast in August of 2000, which in fact proved to be the last time they worked together as each moved on to other projects.
