The US debut of Seoul's electronic duo Astronoise, otherwise known

as Choi Joonyong and Hong Chulki. A seeringly harsh and rythmic

recording of electronics and noise made in 2004 and packaged in

one-of-a-kind painted cases by then Portland-based artist Sara

Siestreem, who incidentally hates this recording, but still enjoyed

the chance to paint 50 small canvases over the course of four months.

When this writer met these guys in Korea they were playing through

TV's as a speaker system and sounding just plain great! Happy to bring

them stateside, even if the number is very limited.
